Projects Funded by the Moray Local Action Fund 2025–26

This year’s Moray Local Action Fund projects showcase new ideas and community-led innovation across the region. From creative spaces to inclusive activities, the 2025–26 initiatives reflect the energy and resilience of Moray’s communities.

Among the exciting new projects is The Arc at The Patch, Duffus — a Dutch barn-style shelter designed to host up to 100 people for workshops, banquets, and social events. Entirely off-grid, it will harvest rainwater, store solar energy, and feature a woodburning stove for warmth and cooking; a small but mighty space for connection and learning.

Other new projects include:

  • Theatre of the 7 Directions – offering immersive workshops using new sound technology to support environmental and mental wellbeing.

  • Moray Flying Circus — free circus skills to green spaces in Forres, Keith, and Elgin.

  • The Gaff Youth Space – expanding inclusive resources and piloting ASN-focused sessions for young people.

Several projects build on previous success, including:

  • ReBOOT – continuing its digital inclusion work

  • Three Kings Cullen – enhancing its community hall to host cinema, concerts, and theatre.

  • Keirans Legacy – maintaining life-saving defibrillators across Moray.

Together, these projects reflect a shared commitment to sustainability, wellbeing, inclusion, and community leadership.
