Let’s work together.

The Moray Local Action Group is a dynamic partnership of local residents and representatives committed to delivering community-led local development (CLLD) across Moray.

CLLD is a bottom-up approach to community change which aims to improve the quality of life, sustainability and prosperity in communities through locally driven development initiatives and projects. The voice and views of people are at the heart of CLLD.

The Moray Local Action Group is guided by the Community Led Vision for Moray - a set of over-arching goals which provides a strong focus to the work we want to do.

We are looking for additional members to help plan and advance our ongoing work and achievements, in supporting the Community Led Vision for Moray.

Through a grant from Scottish Government, The Moray Local Action Group also allocates funds to local projects through the Moray Local Action Fund, which is currently open for applications.

During the year 2024/25 Moray Local Action Group distributed almost £280,000 funding to 39 projects across Moray ranging from community growing to supporting warm spaces to wellbeing programmes - have a look on this website.

The Moray Local Action Group is a friendly, volunteer led group; an unincorporated voluntary association, currently funded by a grant from the Scottish Government. Finances are managed by the local accountable body, tsiMORAY, as directed by the Moray Local Action Group.
