Pop Up Shop

Moray School Bank provided a pop up shop with pre-loved uniform and warm winter items to families experiencing financial hardship.

Delivered over six months, the funding covered staff costs to deliver the project and some costs to cover volunteering expenses.

The project saw over 2500 people come into the shop over the six months, many of whom commented that the shop has been a lifeline for them. Many families came in and asked volunteers about additional help, which the team were then able to connect to access support through organisations such as REAP, Moray Food Plus, Moray Community Foundation, Moray Council Income Maximisation team
